SUNSET DHOW

4:00 PM – Hotel Pick-up

The tour operator will pick you up from your hotel in Muscat and transfer you to the marina (typically Marina Bandar Al Rowdha or Al Mouj Marina) where the dhow cruise begins.

4:15 PM – Arrival at Marina and Boarding

Arrive at the marina and board the traditional Omani dhow, a wooden boat with a charming and authentic design. Settle in and get comfortable on deck, which often includes traditional seating areas with cushions.

4:30 PM – Departure from Marina

The dhow departs the marina and begins its journey along Muscat’s coastline. Enjoy views of iconic landmarks like the Al Bustan Palace, Qantab Beach, and Muscat’s rugged cliffs.

5:00 PM – Relaxation and Refreshments

Relax on board as you cruise, and enjoy complimentary refreshments such as Omani coffee, tea, dates, and light snacks.

5:30 PM – Sunset Viewing

Find a comfortable spot on the dhow to watch the sunset. The crew will position the dhow for optimal views as the sun begins to set over the Gulf of Oman, casting a warm glow on the water and illuminating the mountains and coastline in beautiful shades of red and orange. This is an excellent time for photography.

6:00 PM – Scenic Evening Cruise

After sunset, continue the cruise as the city lights start to twinkle. The cooler evening air and gentle waves create a relaxing ambiance as you enjoy the coastal views.

6:30 PM – Return to Marina

The dhow heads back to the marina, offering a final chance to enjoy the view and take in the sea breeze.

7:00 PM – Arrival at Marina and Hotel Drop-off

Disembark at the marina, where your driver will be waiting to take you back to your hotel, marking the end of the sunset dhow cruise.
