DESERT OVERNIGHT

Day 1:

Starting in the morning you will travel into the Al Hajar Mountains through Wadi Al Aqq across the desert plains through the townships of Ibra and Al Qabil. Then continue to Wadi Bani Khalid for an easy walk along the riverbed with ample time to cool down in the crystal clear waters of the rock pools. Your destination is the Golden Sea Sands of Wahiba Desert.

You can climb sand dunes and mountain tracks to discover Bedouin tending their camels.

Whilst at Desert Nights Camp, you can watch the setting sun from the stylish Majlis or ‘meeting’ tent luxuriously furnished with low hand-carved Arabic furniture, cushions and traditional hand woven rugs. Lamps and candles are lit in preparation for nightfall. Oman vacation

Day 2

After breakfast, Following the desert, the journey continues to Visit the picturesque town of Sur and its traditional boat yards. Stop off at a wadi and enjoy the beautiful surroundings where you can enjoy a gentle walk, or even a swim in the water.

before returning to Muscat you will explore Wadi Shab and Wadi Tiwi are two of the most beautiful spots in Oman. Wadi Shab is home to kingfishers and pink oleander that blooms throughout the year, whilst during springtime the lush vegetation of Wadi Tiwi is at its most vibrant. Oman vacation
